
Fay Jacobs, a member of the Saints and Sinners Hall of Fame, has six published collections of humorous/activist essays with Bywater Books, including As I Lay Frying, Fried and Convicted and her latest, Big Girls Don’t Fry. She was named a 2019 Champion of Pride by The Advocate Magazine and has won numerous awards for her books. She has been recognized by the National Library Association, Golden Crown Literary Society, Independent Publishers Association, and the National Women’s Press Association. Fay is an editor with Bywater Books as well as doing freelance work. She has written for The Washington Post, Advocate Magazine, Washington Blade, Delaware Beach Life and has authored a column for 30 years for Letters from CAMP Rehoboth and more. She’s also a sit-down comic performing her solo show Aging Gracelessly: 50 Shades of Fay, all over the country.
