AJ Romriell

AJ Romriell is a queer, neurodivergent, and HIV+ writer from Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the award-winning author of Wolf Act: A Memoir (2025), and his essays, stories, and poems have appeared in Electric Literature, The Missouri Review, Black Warrior Review, Brevity, and elsewhere. He has been a recipient of the Walter E. Dakin Fellowship from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, the Vandewater Prize in Poetry, as well as multiple Pushcart Prize nominations and grants from the Greater Columbus Arts Council. He earned his MFA from The Ohio State University where he was a 2024 – 25 Presidential Fellow.
